The Reactor cells last for 8000 hrs, when it is time to change, the Hextio will alert you accordingly by the LED lights turning red. It is recommended that the the carbon filter is changed every 6 months.
The Reactor Cell comprises of one UVC light surrounded by titanium dioxide coated nanotubes. This reactor chamber works at the molecular level, neutralizing (not trying to catch) particles, even nano sized particles.
