SmartFLO₃ uses an electrocatalytic process to generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) from tap water to reduce common microorganisms including epidemiologically important pathogens in sink drains. (*1,*2,*3) In a recent study, SmartFLO₃ was shown to be effective against Pseudomonas and C. auris. (*4) SmartFLO₃ was also shown to be more effective than soap and water for bacterial removal from hands. (*5)
A deep, generous bowl, faucetless design, coupled with smooth, non-aerated laminar flow and an anti-splash dam ensure easy, virtually splash-free, aerosol-free operation. With an offset drain as well as wheelchair accessibility, SmartFLO₃ more than meets the requirements of the latest CSA Z8000 and CSA Z317.1 Standards and OADA Guidelines.
